Grown Up Stuff

Your Child’s Safety

11th Edgware Scout Group provides high quality programmes for boys and girls.

We have a Beaver Colony (6-8 year olds), a Cub Pack (8-10.5 year olds) and Scout Troup (10 – 14.5 year olds). Our leaders have over 100 years of Scouting experience between them.

11th Edgware Scouts is run as part of Scouts UK. We are part of Barnet Borough Scouts which lies within the Greater London North District. We are able to call on the expertise and assistance of the Scout District and County Commissioners and their teams, as well as being supported by Scouts UK through the use of training and programme resources. We also use a database management system ‘Online Scout Manager – OSM’ to help with the administration of our Sections.

  • All leaders are fully insured.
  • All leaders are regularly DBS checked – the same as teachers at school.
  • All leaders are required to undertake regular training modules including First Aid and Safeguarding.
  • We follow the Scout Code of Conduct which is strictly adhered to.
  • The leadership team has over 100 years of safe Scouting experience.
